One thing I don't consider myself doing is giving out dating advice. I can't imagine the hardship of a relationship coach cuz whew...yall heaux is exhausting! I simply share my observations with a sprinkle of my own lessons learned as it relates to us single folks! What I find is; we tend to do the same thing over n over n resist changing for another outcome but it's like...what do u have to lose by doing it differently? You've done it wrong for so long, why not try doin shyt right. I don't know much, but I know this...
Dating to deal with men is a gamble! You WILL crap out if ur mindset ain’t right n u haven’t invested in urself FIRST!! When I say invest in urself...that's a whole nother lesson but you can feel free to harken back to my Clean Your Mirror Series to start. Nobody is one size fits all n this is the risk u take when u are entering the dating arena. We love to talk about the dating pool...let's make it a casino:
I'm well aware when I make the decision to visit a casino there's 2 options: win or lose! Whether ur rolling the dice or popping coins in the slot machine, you should be well aware of the risk u take playing the game. Please note: I'm not an expert gambler but I have been in a few casino's n I tend to play the games with low risk-penny machines...maybe a nickel if I'm feeling lucky, lol.
I admire those who go for the high stakes but I've yet to reach that level of investment. With this being said...evaluate the returns on investment. At what level do u want to play? I've seen yall play the same slot machine, hours on end while plopping ur big azz in that chair til ur legs feel like static. You get up depleted n defeated after winning nothing or maybe $100 is your limit and the return is slim to none. I mean yes, I've played $150 and won $70 cuz...well...I tend to stop while I'm ahead n I was a scary bet-ter.
Scared Money Don't Make Money
Have u ever sat next to someone who seems to be winning on their machine or at their hand n think...when they get up; I'm taking their seat. Although your neighbors luck seems to be better than yours or hell...they may even hit the JACKPOT-u take over their position in hopes the same outcome happens to you!
This is the RISK you are taking! Same as dating. Again...men are such a gamble so imagine the gamble they are taking on YOU! Becuz I've invested in myself enuff; I don't gamble with fear becuz my mindset is...win or lose; I'm gonna be aight. I know my limits to what I'm using to gamble n when I sit at that slot machine knowing this ONE good spin is gonna make or break me. Good for me if I'm winning but often times we press our luck n don't know when to just stop! While your playing one game, ur looking around to see where ur gonna play next vs focusing on what's in front of you. you spreading ur coins all over the casino thinking it'll give u better odds at winning. You might win a few hands here n there but being greedy will have u crap TF out.
When you love someone, you've gotta trust them. There's no other way. You've got to give them the key to everything that's yours. Otherwise, what's the point? And for a while, I believed, that's the kind of love I had.

I can say, I've left those penny slot machines alone n learned how to play at the Blackjack table and my favorite (apparently yall's too) is the Roulette becuz dating is a numbers game. You place a bet on one number or different groups. I've NEVER played Poker. I have a hard enuff time trying to not show my face during Spades games haha. The way my brow might move when I have an Ace or Joker is a dead giveaway LOL. I love to play the game cuz I know MY odds. I've collected enuff reconn to know the best times to gamble n who to gamble with but more importantly establishing how much I'm willing to lose. How far do I wanna go before the game dips into my reserves.
Dating Tip: Stop showing your hand so much n keep some of them cards close
Gamblers typically tell themselves they have a budget cuz I mean...I know how far I'll go but when ur down to the last dollar, u miraculously find MORE! At this point, you've invested so much time n energy u just KNOW this last dolla to bet is THE ONE! That adrenaline rush n feeling u tend to get this time is different is what keeps u playing the game. How's the casino working out for you these days? You can always take a break n come back when ur ready with another strategy. The casino ain't goin no where and if u wanna go to unfamiliar territories...go visit other spots away from home. If you can't afford to lose then u got no business playing becuz the game gonna be the game.
In the casino, the cardinal rule is to keep them playing and to keep them coming back. The longer they play, the more they lose, and in the end, we get it all.

I've always been a risk taker..faith leaper n gambler of many things in life. I celebrate my wins n learn from the losses cuz it is what it is right. I've also done enuff work internally to not take it personally which has created balance in my life.
