November/December Nail Files: Candy Coated

Ooooh lucky you, this will be a two for one-er because well...I typically get my nails done at the end of the month that takes me into the new month. With December being here in the next blink-this post will carry me into the new year. With coming to the tail end of 2025, I love how I peel off to go into my hibernation with a quiet power to return to the basics. This is where I let the acrylics go n trim down to the softest version of myself in more ways than one. The finale theme is...Cotton Candy.
This one takes me back to my teenage years remembering the girl who once sat the salon chair (yes, I've been getting my nails done since MS) to get a full set for $25 and before all of these crazy, elaborate designs we've grown accustomed to today for well over the cost of two lattes, there was the infamous white airbrush that was followed by THE holy grail of polishes that worked for everything and everyone...Cotton Candy.

This end-of-year ritual is my reset button, a gentle undoing before the new chapter begins.
As I step toward 2026, I do it intentionally stripped—no extra layers, no borrowed shine—just the clean slate that only a bare nail and an honest heart can give. Ready, refreshed, and walking in with nothing to hide and everything to welcome.

I am just as fancy with my stubs as I am when they are longer and the joy of seeing this shade made me gently smile to think back to the 90's when life was as simple as the shade and even the white airbrush fueled my creative side. Who remembers picking a design only for them to put that stencil over each nail, lol. You couldn't tell us NOTHING and the cotton candy era owes me the same.
