August Nail Files: Golden Voyage

This month’s nail journey was freestyled because I had nothing in mind when I sat in the chair for my fill-in. I've also been so busy this month, the last thing I've been wanting to do is add another thought into anything. While the session was coming closer towards picking out polish, I just so happen to look over and see a silk scarf in the window. My eyes kept shifting towards it and I started admiring the colors-DASSIT!!!

I set sail on the luxe tides of a silk scarf—nautical in spirit, refined in detail. With deep navy as the anchor, bold orange as the pop of adventure, and golden accents steering the way, my August nails capture the essence of a Golden Voyage. It’s a look that feels both classic and daring (plus yall know I've been in a navy era), like slipping into a vintage scarf on a breezy yacht day—effortless, elevated, and brimming with quiet confidence.

I love this combo. Not so bad for catching it on the whim. Sharisse incorporated the scarf perfectly. I'm also proud of myself for venturing outside my comfort zone and doing a dark color like the navy blue.

Call it what you want, but I’d say she just nailed it. If style were a compass, these nails point to fabulous. Consider this month’s mani my golden ticket to smooth sailing—with a touch of dainty flair at every fingertip ✨⚓️💅
