Oh, I forgot to Show you: Quick Haul

Quick Haul from my faves

I know...I know...not only is Christmas approaching but I forgot to show my haul from...oooh...November :7 Sephora Sales are all the rage in the beauty world and while I'm no longer a PJ (or VIB Rouge), I still slightly partake to dust off my wishlist. The month of November also kicks off some pre-black friday deals and alot of flash sales n beat the rush deals that happen too...yes...I induldged.

So I'll start with the shortest haul and I mean..honestly...I should prolly do a monthly haul for this place becuz yall KNOW I shop here the most. It truly is my happy place!! I can go in and get lost with my Lavendar Chai Latte in hand as I peruse the aisles for sales or forecasting trends mainly. Whether I'm picking up or returning...Nordstrom is always my most shopped spot. Here's a few hopeful picks:

These water resistant slingback clogs from Dr. Marten (left) were hopeful and currently on sale-r than what I paid for $80 (I paid $97) and RETURNED!! They look good in person but that middle tongue part was uncomfortable while walking. I'm sure I needed to "break em in" to loosen em up but I'm beyond working hard for a shoe-NAH!! The Glimmer Pearl Mules by Steve Madden (right) were cute but not $55 cute. I do wish I would've kept them cuz they're now $40 which makes em cuter lol.

See Projects Small Snakeskin Shoulder Bag ($715)

Continuing on with the haul...I've become quite the collector of this brand. I love a good story of stepping out on faith n bettin on urself. These guys from North Caroline have been building a brand to be proud of and I always reach for these when I give my apple watch a break. Bring back wearing real watches!!

Baldwin Petite Calf Print ($53)

One of my favorite indie brands is Peace Images Jewelry and I've been shopping her brand since my early natural days. I can say she's consistently produced quality pieces throughout these years and I'm a loyal returning customer. I snagged a few unique accessories:

Naamio Mask Earrings ($25)

If ever u randomly paid attn, you'd notice I rarely wear rings n I'm not a necklace kinda gal. Welp, that's becuz I have small hands...not in the "grab my strong hand" sense but my ring size is 5 1/2 n most rings on the market are for 6/7's n up. I'd need adjustable rings to accommodate these short paws.

Quick Trend Alert: Mask Earrings are taking over

This next mini haul within the haul is from Amazon and although I have some pretty dope finds, I need to promote my Amazon Storefront more often than not. I came across these earrings and first look that came to mind was the one above.

I love fun accessories to keep me whimsical n girly. These acryllic flower studs ($6) made me smile
Abstract Unique Earrings ($10)

I told you guys face masks earrings ARE a thing n I envisioned wearing these with a solid black turtleneck n some jeans to keep the look simple with maximum effect since the accessories will do the majority of the work. I am shifting into LESS is more ;)

I always re-fall in love with chocolate in the Fall. I grabbed a deep dark brown Staud dress so coming across these zebra triangle earrings...the ideas starting churning. And let's be honest...zebra is as neutral as cheetah print.

For the finale wrap up...I'll share what I grabbed from the Sephora Sale. I know perfume's are MAJOR in the game these days and I'm not one to splurge on full size bottles unless its an absolute staple. I also don't discriminate on when to wear them cuz I know there's more scents that lean towards a certain season. For me, I am a lover of florals, vanilla's and anything lavender. I have been more open to citrusy scents lately and I feel like a scientist when I get mixy. I start with a light body spray after moisturizing then add on.

I am surprised I don't see much chatter around Montale which in my opinion is quite affordable for a full size ($180) and packs a mean punch!! I was introduced to this brand a few years ago via Jackie Aina who boasted about Roses Musk. It's now one of my favorites which I layer with any oud-y scent. Rose + TF Ombre Leather will have them swooning and mixes well-I ALWAYS get compliments after hours of wear so it lets me know...this lingers. There's better full size deals n more options via Neiman's which is how I built my collection.

Montale

  • Velvet Fantasy ($50): Floral Family (DUH) w/key notes of tangerine, violet n vanilla

  • Day Dreams ($50); Fresh Family w/key notes of tangerine, orange blossom n vanilla

Can you see the pattern, lol. I play around with citrusy scents becuz its fresh n clean-like jeans n tshirt kinda ways or if I'm taking a stroll on a sunny day! Ok so I am a tad late to the Kay Ali party but better late than never right?! Yall rave on this brand HEAVY and well...I'm here to stay!! There's not really a scent of this line I haven't liked yet.

Kay Ali

  • The Wedding Velvet Santal ($32): Popular limited edition PLUS I like jasmine.

  • Eden Sparkling Lychee ($30(: This was my intro to the brand n is a delicate floral

  • Yum Pistachio Gelato ($32): this is sweet without being corny n juvenile.

  • HOLIDAY SET NO LONGER AVAILABLE: Vanilla Duo ($30): I mean u can't go wrong with anything vanilla n this will pair well w/pistachio.

and last but not least...my holy grail Laneige lip mask ($21) not online so u may have better luck in store. I never want to be without these!!

And that's about it. I didn't do too bad n stayed way under budget aka responsible! I stuck to smaller knick knacks to introduce me into brands n intentionally shopped to "needs". I will have to get better documenting my great finds here where it's referenced n link'd up n of course you'll see these finds in action :D
