I figured I'd feature my Dressed in LaLa piece on it's own to get my in the groove of star features when I share great finds. I am no stranger to the brand. In my head, I'm a model of theirs and I'm happy to oblige with a purchase as they represent my fun side. I've been eyeballing this cardigan since last year and it's always hard to grab on their site. I was glad to see it giddy up to my favorite fashion department.

Not sure if yall have really been paying attention buuuut...animal "prints" have been trending lately. If you look around you'll see tops with a dog or even cats printed as a design. I'm not saying I've been ahead of trends buuut...if you scroll back a few years or so; then you've seen me in the game before it was...a thing.

While I think the options to wear a cute little terrier is cute, there's something sophisticated with horses. The equestrian style is classy so to see LaLa showcase the western inspired cardigan grabbed my attention.
This is my 2nd cardigan and as much as I like oversized; I learned my lesson with the L/XL just how big they are so I opted for the smaller size-S/M. The mere thought of ME in a small was frightening, lol. Like will the arms fit? Is this gonna be a crop top cardigan? What about my boobs? **cue overthinking** BUT luckily, I quickly silenced the doubts and blindly ordered what would be a perfect fit.

Dressed in LaLa: Wild Mustang Oversized Cardigan ($130) can be found here. The quality of the knits are superb and it's thick enough to comfortably layer and transitions well into Fall. Aside from the coziness, it's the print I love. I am also having a chocolate moment and the colors are rich in person. I first took this for a spin during the Chappelle Show but wore them with my pony flats n matching bag. Aside from that, to maintain the cardigan as the star, I'd keep the remainder of the look quite simple with a solid top under it and jeans. Even more polished w/dark blue jeans. Because it IS so oversized, you can utilize the option to cinch in the waist a tad which won't compromise the message at the shoulder.

Overall, Nordstrom doesn't disappoint. OH...this brand doesn't go on sale much-if at all. I haven't seen it. Trust me...I play the long game too, lol. So if I see what I like...I'll let it marinate in the wishlist to save up but I don't bank on it being on sale and often times my size will be out of stock. This is a fun look and I can guarantee compliments with this brand which help me escape from the real world yet modern enough to still be taken seriously to saddle up on these heaux 🐎✨
